A cool crisp breeze of fragrance washes over the room when this cleansing mist is used! Smoke inhalation can be damaging to the lungs, even if it is not tobacco smoke, and so a traditional option instead of sage/smudging a room is to asperge the room— to gently flick water droplets over the objects and spaces that you would like to cleanse.

Designed to remove unwanted energetic residue or bugaboos, this potion invites Sweet Annie, Peppermint, and Birch to sanitize the energy of the space. Hyssop, the traditional asperging herb, is here to bless the space, and Eastern Hemlock, Dogwood, and Star Magnolia invite divine protection. Hellebore and Snowdrop clear the space to make room for something fresh and new.

Suggested Use: Spritz on objects to cleanse instead of sage smudging; open the windows and use as room spray to clear out negative or stale energies; use as a personal smudging spray to cleanse your auric field before ritual or magical/spiritual work; spritz on your broom or add to mop water to clean floors on the waning moon and refresh the energy in your house; use in magical or ritual work to help release old unwanted energies, particularly during the waning moon or in the autumn. 

CAUTION: Birch essential oil can be quite harsh on the skin. The Birch oil is sparingly used in this elixir, but it is wise to either test a small amount on a patch of skin, or avoid direct contact with skin altogether (spraying on clothing, for example), particularly if you have sensitive skin or multiple  allergies. As with all essential oil products, avoid eyes & mucous membranes.

Please note that Flower Essences do not add any fragrance to the potion, but are rather an energetic ingredient, with the plant matter at an extreme dilute.
